2026 Taste of Acworth

The annual Taste of Acworth returns to downtown Acworth on Saturday, October 17, 2026. With over 40 restaurant booths, attendees can sample delectable dishes from local restaurants, all affordably priced between $1 and $10.

Entertainment

In addition to the impressive lineup of culinary treats, Taste of Acworth offers plenty of entertainment options. Two live stages will host performances from local talent throughout the day. Children can stay busy enjoying inflatables, a quad bungee attraction, and numerous games in the interactive Kid’s Zone. Adults looking to relax can visit the Beer Garden, featuring refreshments perfect for pairing with the wide variety of foods.

Georgia Grown Member Village

Those interested in local produce and Georgia goods can explore the Georgia Grown Member Village, highlighting vendors with products sourced and made in Georgia. It’s a great spot to discover unique items while supporting local businesses.

Contest Categories

Restaurants at Taste of Acworth will compete in five exciting categories:

  • Best Entrée
  • Best Dessert
  • Best Food Presentation
  • Best Decorated Tent
  • Best Appetizer

Winners will receive their awards at approximately 3:30 pm.

Annual Dog Show

Dog owners and fans shouldn’t miss the Taste of Acworth Dog Show, beginning at 11:30 am in the historic downtown district. Categories include:

  • Shortest/Longest Tail
  • Biggest/Smallest Dog
  • Smallest/Biggest Ears
  • Best Dressed
  • Handler Look-Alike
  • Best Talent or Trick

All proceeds from dog show entry fees benefit local animal organizations including Lakecity Animal Hospital, Georgia Rescue – Road Trip Home, and the Humane Society of Cobb County. Extra donations are welcomed and appreciated to help these furry friends.

We are an established Rock & Roll band that plays regularly We play from Smith’s Olde Bar to River Street Tavern in Ellijay, Rocco’s in Jasper loves us We also do private parties, fundraisers and other free venues, such as things for churches and seniors.. We want exposure and would love the opportunity to be a part of Taste Of Acworth.

I’m new to the area. I went to downtown Kennesaw, thought it was Acworth. I didn’t know that Acworth was further down on Main also.
